Call for Proposals.
ERA invites research proposals on viticulture under climate change. The first call opens alongside our programmes in 2026 — a limited number of projects each year, run with partner universities.
Scope
Four priority areas.
Proposals are welcomed across the areas that determine whether a vineyard adapts or fails.

How to apply
A deliberately small programme.
In its first phase ERA funds one to two awards per year, so quality and relationships come before scale.

- 02Review carried out together with a partner university.
- 03Award, with a named mentor and access to the ERA network.
- 04Share findings — results return to growers as practical guidance.

Scientific Committee.
ERA plans to establish an independent scientific committee responsible for evaluating proposals, selecting participants and supporting projects throughout their development.
